Setting up Auto Ordering

Auto Ordering is a feature which we developed to save you time and avoid loss of profit margin. There are two options within this feature which you can chose from, the Address Only Auto Ordering, which is free of charge, or the Full Auto Ordering, which is charged at a low rate per order. 

Setting up Auto Ordering is quick and easy and will be covered in the tutorial below.

Address Only Auto Ordering

If you would like Profit Scraper to only add the customer address to the Amazon order, then you should chose the address only auto ordering feature. please see below how you can activate this feature.

Navigate to the Auto Ordering Settings

To find your Auto Ordering Settings, simply navigate to ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > MARKETPLACES SETTINGS > AUTO ORDERING via the navigation menu.

Enable Address Only Auto Ordering

Please chose 'YES' for the option 'Enable Auto Ordering' and 'Just add address' for the option 'Fully Complete Order?'.

Complete Settings

As you are choosing the Address Only Auto Ordering feature, all you have to do is provide the Amazon E-mail address and the Amazon password. 

All other settings on this page are not needed for this option of the Auto Ordering feature. 

Please note: Should you decide to activate the Full Auto Ordering Feature, you will have to fill out all the fields on the Auto Ordering Settings page. Keep reading on to learn about all remaining settings.

Full Auto Ordering

Navigate to the Auto Ordering Settings

To find your Auto Ordering Settings, simply navigate to ACCOUNT > SETTINGS > MARKETPLACES SETTINGS > AUTO ORDERING via the navigation menu.

Enable Full Auto Ordering

Please chose 'YES' for the option 'Enable Auto Ordering' and 'YES' for the option 'Fully Complete Order?'.

Complete ALL Settings

For the Full Auto Ordering Feature you need to complete all the settings on the auto ordering settings page. Please see below for detailed information about each setting. 

Setting Explanation
Credit Card Number Provide the credit card number for the card which you would like us to use to place the order on Amazon.
CVV Code Provide the CVV Code only, if Amazon request it.
Phone Number This is used for the store to contact you if there are any issues with your order (mostly delivery problems). Profit Scraper will use the customer's phone number by default and use the number you add here as a backup number incase the customer doesn't have a phone number available.
Use own phone number on all orders? If set to YES, Profit Scraper will use your own phone number on all orders, for the store to contact you if there are any issues with your order (mostly delivery problems).
Leave positive feedback on eBay? If set to YES, Profit Scraper will automatically leave positive feedback, along with your feedback message, to the eBay customer once the order has been processed.
Feedback message Enter the feedback message (max. 80 characters) which you would like Profit Scraper to add to eBay.
Send order as gift Please chose YES if you would like to send the order as a gift order.
Gift message Enter the gift message (max. 255 characters) which you would like Profit Scraper to use. Leave this field empty, if you do not want to use a gift message.
Set order as dispatched on eBay? If set to YES, all your orders will be set as dispatched in eBay after the order has been processed.
Delete address after placing order? This will delete the customer’s address from your Amazon address book after the order has been placed. This will help to keep your Amazon address book clean and tidy.
Default delivery method This is the delivery method that will be used. Free Shipping means that the customer did not pay anything for delivery. Paid shipping means they paid something for delivery.
Still place order if profit is negative? Set to NO, if you want Profit Scraper to only place orders with profit.
Maximum negative profit Enter the maximum negative profit up to which you allow Profit Scraper to place orders.
Don't place order above this value Auto orders will not be placed if the sold price of any single item is greater than this figure. Orders will remain in the pending tab and you will need to use the "Retry and place order" command to place the order after confirming it is OK to dispatch.
Limited quantity If Auto Ordering fails due to Amazon restricting the quantity you can purchase, you can choose to keep selling the item (None) or delist the item.
Turn on Bundle Ordering Amazon usually only allow free 3-5 days (or 2 day in USA) deliveries when a minimum order threshold is reached. You should choose bundle ordering so that free shipping will always be available for your orders.
Use gift card only If you are using Amazon gift cards to purchase your orders AND you also have a credit/debit card linked to your Profit Scraper account, you should choose Yes for this setting.
Supplier priority When ordering, if there are both Amazon and FBA suppliers available to choose from, which supplier should be selected? This will be calculated based on the percentage difference below.
Rotate orders between Amazon accounts Choose YES if you want to rotate orders sequentially between 2 or more Amazon accounts. If you choose NO and you have 2 or more Amazon accounts, you will be able to manually retry Auto orders to your additional Amazon account(s) if needed which can be useful for processing problem orders such as Limited Quantity and Prime Member Only items.
Do not automatically ship if buyer adds note? If the eBay customer leaves a note, then you can choose to hold the order until you check the customer's note.

Pausing Auto Ordering

While the Auto Ordering Feature is running, users should not manually log into their Amazon accounts.  There are two reasons for this. 

Firstly, there could be conflicts if an order is processed by Profit Scraper and manually amended by the user at the same time. 

Secondly, if your account is logged in from two IP addresses (your own IP and the Profit Scraper IP) your account might be at risk.

Therefore, should you need to manually log into Amazon, e.g. to process an order manually or process a return, you have to 'Pause Account Access' within your Profit Scraper member account. 

You can do this straight from your Auto Ordering Report, by selecting 'Pause Account Access' and clicking on the blue 'Update' button. 

Please note: It can take up to 15 minutes from clicking the 'Update' button to stop Profit Scraper from accessing the Amazon account. Once you are finished, make sure you re-enable the relevant auto ordering setting and click 'Update' again.

Auto Ordering Report

In your Profit Scraper member account you can find an Auto Ordering Report on which you can see all your Auto Orders for both, Address Only Auto Ordering AND Full Auto Ordering.

Please note: You MUST frequently check your Auto Ordering report to make sure all orders are processed correctly. Even though the order success rate is very high, there might still be Auto Ordering errors, which you will have to manually fix or report to us.
