Reading the Item Performance Report

Below you will find explanations of how to read and interpret the data on each panel on the report:

Item Profit

On this graph you will find the trending item profit and sales. Hovering over each dot on the graph will bring up further details.
You can look at the trend at a daily, weekly or monthly level, by changing the label in the top right hand corner.

Conversion Rate (%)

On this graph you will find the trending item conversion rate. Hovering over each dot on the graph will bring up further details.
You can look at the trend at a daily, weekly or monthly level, by changing the label in the top right hand corner.

To Recap! Conversion Rate is an indicator showing the percentage of people that have bought an item out of the total number of people that have viewed the item.
Therefore, the calculation is -->  Conversion Rate = Orders / Item Views

Orders & Margin Breakdown

This part of the report is especially valuable for users using different margin strategies for their items.
Besides the item profit for each order, the table shows a useful breakdown of those margins which were applied at the time the order was placed.

Please note: Order data is only available from October 31st, 2017, onwards.

Margin Breakdown
There are three margins that can be associated to an order:
Default Margin  - This is your default account margin as set in your Profit Settings (Price)
Item Custom Margin - This margin will be listed if an item custom margin was set at the time of order
Sales Custom Margin - This margin will be listed if a sales custom margin was applied at the time of order as set in your Profit Settings (Sales)
The above margins are visualised at the right hand corner of the table.

Hovering over each icon will bring up the margin breakdown for each order.
